Gary "Superman" Webber
UKKA & IKF Middleweight Muay Thai Champion
AGE: 19
Weight: 160
Height: 5'10"
Hometown: Whittier, CA.
Gary Webber's entry into the world of kickboxing started out as a gift from
his grandmother.  For his 14th birthday, she enrolled him in Moorings
Powerbox Kickboxing.   What started out as a gift, has turned into a passion
for Gary whose mission is to be a world champion kickboxer.
Gary, having fought in Southern California, Northern California, and Las Vegas, loves showing his skills in front of a screaming crowd and is fueled by the fear in his opponent's eyes before the ring of the first bell He believes in the ring respect must be earned not just given. Outside the ring Gary counts his grandmother and his trainer as the two people he respects deeply.
With kicks to the head as his specialty, Gary, or Superman as he's known, believes it all begins with a commitment. Gary has advice for anyone wanting to get into kickboxing. "Be committed, train hard, and don't miss class. Try to learn everything you can, believe in yourself, and in your trainer."
At a young age Gary has already achieved two championship titles. Don’t think he is kicking back. Gary says, "Winning feels good. It means the training is paying off. I have much to learn. I know I can fight even better. Just wait until my next fight!!!"
When Gary's not hitting the heavy bag, he's hitting the skins of his drum set to a Grindcore metal beat. He also enjoys hanging with his friends. Gary would also like to extend a special thanks to his family and Team Powerbox.
